TikTok View History Chrome extension security report

Ever seen something great on TikTok and couldn't find it again? View History fixes that. This extension automatically tracks the videos you see while browsing TikTok on your desktop. No liking, no saving, no "follow" needed — just scroll like you normally would and everything is quietly logged locally on your device. ✦ HOW IT WORKS View History runs silently in the background while you browse tiktok.com. It captures videos as TikTok's feed loads them, storing thumbnails, creators, captions, sounds, and hashtags so you can search and find them later. ✦ FEATURES • Automatic tracking — no buttons to press, it just works • Visual grid — 2-column 9:16 layout that matches TikTok's native vertical format • Search — find videos by creator, caption, sound, or hashtag • Filter — all, short (<30s), or long (≥30s) • Delete individual items — remove anything from your history • Export — download your full history as JSON • Privacy first — all data stays in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere ✦ PRIVACY Your view history is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone. There are no analytics, no tracking, no servers. Uninstalling the extension deletes all stored data. ✦ NOTE This extension works on tiktok.com (desktop web). It does not work with the TikTok mobile app.
