This extension allows healthcare providers to manage thoroughcare.net web application from within athenahealth.com. Thoroughcare is a health tech software company who enables healthcare providers to track and log time they spend caring for the health of their patients. Throughcare's software solutions streamline the business requirements of Medicare programs designed to improve the overall health and quality of life of patients who are living with chronic health conditions. This extension runs a scaled down version of our platform so that physicians and healthcare providers can easily log time into Thoroughcare from within their own EHR where they do most of their daily activities such viewing lab results and vital statistics, ordering prescriptions, and scheduling office visits. AthenaHealth.com requires authentication and this extension functions when the user has a successful login and is viewing a patient's chart. No sensitive information is transferred or read by our extension. Rather it uses the patient's native ID from within AthenaHealth.com platform. Using that identifier, the patient is located within Thoroughcare. The UI of the extension provides a clock/timer which can be started, paused, stopped, and finally the time spent on a specific tasks are logged in Thoroughcare. The session expires when the user's AthenaHealth session ends, and we also expire sessions after 30 mins of inactivity.
