The Drill Sergeant: Website Blocker Chrome extension security report

ATTENTION RECRUIT! Are you tired of wasting your life scrolling through social media? Do you lack the spine to say "no" to distractions? Welcome to The Drill Sergeant. This isn't just another soft, friendly website blocker that politely asks you to focus. This is a military-grade discipline enforcer designed to break your bad habits and build unbreakable productivity. When you try to visit a blocked site, you won't get a boring error page. You'll get a face-full of tough love, ordering you back to your battle station. WHY ENLIST? ZERO-LATENCY BLOCKING: We use a "Local-First" blocking engine. That means instant interception. No loading, no waiting, no loopholes. The moment you slip up, The Drill Sergeant is there to catch you. CROSS-DEVICE SYNC: Your mission doesn't end when you switch computers. Your blocked list and settings sync automatically across all your Chrome browsers via the cloud. There is nowhere to hide. PRIVACY-CONSCIOUS: We don't sell your data. We don't track your browsing history. The Drill Sergeant only cares about one thing: Are you working, or are you wasting time? CORE FEATURES STRICT WEBSITE BLOCKING: Add the sites that make you weak. Social media, news, entertainment—if it distracts you, kill it. THE DRILL SERGEANT PERSONA: Over 150 unique, motivation-crushing (and motivation-building) messages that shame you into productivity. "You call that focus? My grandmother focuses better than that!" TEMPORARY UNBLOCKING (IF YOU EARN IT): Need to access a site for "work"? You can request a temporary pass. But be warned: The Drill Sergeant is watching the clock. RANK UP TO UNLIMITED (PREMIUM) The free version gives you the basic training you need (up to 3 blocked sites). For those ready for Special Forces training, The Drill Sergeant Unlimited unlocks the full arsenal: UNLIMITED BLOCKED SITES: Block the entire internet if you have to. No limits on how many distractions you can eliminate. WORK SCHEDULES: Automate your discipline. Set specific hours (e.g., 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) where blocking is active. Relax in the evenings, grind during the day. HARDCORE MODE: For the recruits who truly lack self-control. Prevents you from disabling the extension or editing lists during active sessions. CUSTOM MESSAGES: Write your own insults or motivational quotes. Make your past self yell at your future self. WHO IS THIS FOR? Procrastinators who need a kick in the pants. Students who need to study without checking their phone every 5 minutes. Developers and Creatives who need deep work states. ADHD brains that need external structure and immediate feedback.
