What: This extension automatically detects ASCII text tables (e.g., +---+ format) on web pages and adds a one-click copy button. The table is converted to TSV format, ready to paste directly into Excel or Google Sheets with perfect cell alignment. Why: When copying text tables from technical docs or command-line outputs, the formatting breaks in Excel. You then have to manually use "Text to Columns", delete border characters like +, -, and | one by one. These repetitive tasks are tedious and time-consuming. This extension automates everything—one click to copy, paste directly, clean and neat. Say goodbye to mechanical labor and boost your productivity significantly. How: Install the extension, visit any page with ASCII tables, and copy buttons will appear automatically. Click the button, open Excel, press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac), and your table is perfectly formatted. Works on documentation sites, Jupyter Notebooks, and any page with text tables. Note: If a table contains pipe characters ("|") within cell data, the copy button will not appear to avoid incorrect column splitting.
