Tenant Banner is a lightweight browser extension that adds a clear, consistent banner to supported Microsoft administration portals, showing the active Microsoft Entra tenant at all times. The extension allows administrators to define a list of tenant IDs and corresponding friendly names. When a supported Microsoft portal is opened, Tenant Banner detects the active tenant and displays a banner at the top of the page using the configured display name and color. Tenant Banner is designed specifically for IT administrators, managed service providers (MSPs), consultants, and support engineers who work across multiple Microsoft environments such as Intune, Entra, Microsoft 365, Defender, Teams, Azure, Purview, and Power Platform. Many Microsoft portals do not consistently display tenant branding or customer names, particularly when switching between tenants or when using centralized administration tools. Tenant Banner helps prevent costly mistakes by making it immediately visible which tenant you are currently working in, reducing the risk of performing administrative actions in the wrong environment.
