Tablite is a minimalist new tab extension for Chromium-based browsers, designed to make every new tab a quiet, fast, and focused experience. It strips the new tab page down to its purest form: a single clean search box, free from news feeds, shortcut bars, or anything else that competes for your attention. The background uses Bing's daily photo, refreshing automatically each day to bring a touch of visual calm to an otherwise bare interface. You can switch search engines between Google, Baidu, and a custom URL template, covering different preferences and regional needs. On the privacy front, Tablite follows a strict minimal-permission policy — no analytics, no ads, no telemetry of any kind. All settings are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device. There's no account to create; the default configuration works right out of the box, making it a safe choice even for privacy-conscious users. Tablite isn't trying to be the most feature-packed new tab page. It just aims to be the one that gets out of your way.
