Tab Relief — Sleep Tabs & Memory Saver Chrome extension security report

Too many tabs make Chrome slow. Closing them loses your place. Tab Relief does neither. WHAT IT DOES • Sleep inactive tabs — one click rests background tabs using Chrome's native discard, freeing memory. Tabs reload instantly when you return. • Auto Sleep — set an interval (default 15 minutes) and let Tab Relief quietly rest idle tabs for you. • Workspaces — save a messy window as a named workspace, clean up now, restore the whole set when the task comes back. • Close matching tabs — sweep duplicates and clutter (YouTube, social media, shopping) in a controlled review step. • Protected sites — domains you mark never get slept or closed. SAFE BY DEFAULT Active tabs, pinned tabs, tabs playing audio, local pages, and protected domains always stay awake. You see the tab count and an estimated memory relief before anything runs. Nothing is closed without review. A modern alternative to classic tab suspender extensions, built on Manifest V3 with Chrome's native tab discard. PRICING Free to install. Every action comes with a 14-day free trial — no card required, no automatic charge. After the trial: $1.30/month or $12.99/year. Cancel anytime from Billing inside the extension. PRIVACY Tab settings and workspaces are stored locally on your device. Tab Relief reads tab titles, URLs, and states only to decide what can be slept, saved, protected, or closed. No browsing history is sold or shared. Payment is handled by ExtensionPay/Stripe; card details never touch the extension.
