Subreddit Scout — Rules Checker & Self-Promo Score Chrome extension security report

Posting your product in the wrong subreddit gets you banned in minutes. Subreddit Scout tells you if a community is safe to promote in — before you post. Click "Scout this subreddit" on any subreddit and get: • Self-promo tolerance score 0–100 — read from the actual rules text, with a plain verdict ("Promo-friendly with rules" or "High risk — read the rules") • Rules digest — every rule summarized in a tidy accordion • Mod strictness — a proxy from rule count and posting restrictions • Best times to post — the top posting windows from the sub's recent top posts, in your local time • Subscribers and active users at a glance It reads Reddit's own public data, caches for 24 hours, and shows recently scouted subs in the popup so you can compare communities fast. No sign-up, no AI, no nonsense — just a fast read on "can I promote here?"
