stripCHORDer:LIVE! Chrome extension security report

Grab a guitar and jam along to whatever's playing — stripCHORDer:LIVE! listens to any browser tab and names the chords in real time, with just enough of a head start that you actually see them coming. DUAL-CHANNEL Chord Detection, one click activation, compatible with Suno, Youtube, Spotify or any music you listen to on Edge. Learn the music you love naturally! Tuner included and three modes of display along with customizable parameters for not just learning what you hear, but to contribute and be part of it. All at one click of a button! HOW IT WORKS The extension holds a short buffer of the tab's audio and analyses the part you haven't heard yet. By the time a chord actually reaches your speakers, its name has already been on screen for as long as you asked for — enough warning to fret it in time, not after the fact. KEY FEATURES • Real-time chord detection, tuned for full mixes — not just isolated instruments • A genuine heads-up buffer (not a lag hack): adjustable from instant up to several seconds • Split bass/treble channel detection, so a bass line and the chord voicing above it are read independently • Capo shape display — see the shape to fret at any capo position, without doing the transposition math yourself • Real audio Transpose — actually pitch-shift the tab's audio up or down by semitones (not just the display), useful for singing in a different key or matching another instrument's tuning • A frameless circular Ring HUD that can trail your cursor or pin in place, with its own hotkeys for on-the-fly adjustment • A slim two-lane Bar mode across the bottom of the window for a glance-only read while you're focused elsewhere • A built-in tuner — reads pitch from the tab, or from your own microphone (opt-in, released the instant you leave the tuner view) so you can tune the instrument in your hands, not just the song • Three programmable presets for instantly switching between setups • Adjustable detection tuning for trickier source material: frequency smoothing, bass/vocal emphasis, chroma smoothing, and chord-type filtering • Multiple color schemes and a fully adjustable, resizable interface PRIVACY All audio is processed locally, in memory, on your device. Nothing is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere — this extension makes no network requests of any kind. The only thing stored is your own settings, kept locally so your preferences persist between sessions. Built for musicians who want to play along, not just listen.
