We can resize the drop down window for the duration that we use it. But once we close it, it reverts back to default size. A tad better than the other one I tried today, but not my liking. If I resize a notepad I expect it to keep the size constantly and not revert back to the default size. Sometimes versions of extensions won't load with Chrome updates and we end up losing whatever notes we put in there. I used the same paid extension for years until the author no longer released updates and Chrome won't let it install anymore. Since then I've tried dozens each with idiotic inconsistencies like the resizing window or losing my notes when Chrome won't load it...
