Analyst notes
The extension is a legitimate reporting tool. All data flows to the publisher's own domains ([domain withheld], [domain withheld]) and the data collection (personally identifiable information, authentication, personal communications, website content) is explicitly disclosed in the Chrome Web Store listing. Broad permissions (scripting, webNavigation, tabs) are necessary for the extension's core functionality across multiple webmail providers. The ML model likely flagged minified code patterns (bundled EventEmitter, i18n handling) and the necessary injection of content scripts as suspicious, but these are not malicious. The publisher is Google trusted and has a verified privacy policy.
