By shopping at select online stores, at no extra cost to you, a portion of your purchase will be donated to disaster relief.

This extension supports a grass roots effort to raise funds for significant disaster relief efforts to help charitable organizations that respond to event such as hurricanes and storms, floods, fires, earthquakes, tsunamis and more. By using this extension and, at your choice, attributing your sale to this cause, a percentage will be donated, at no extra cost to you, to charitable organizations who are proven to respond to these events. Thank you for considering doing this small part to help make a large impact in the lives of those affected! How it works: When you visit a website that supports the a purchase event that would attribute your purchase to these efforts, you'll get a little banner (like the green one in the picture attached here) which you can choose to either dismiss or click. By clicking and making a purchase then you will be attributing your purchase to these efforts. How this started: I wanted to help the Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in Abaco & Freeport and set up a page on my website to attribute a part of purchases to these efforts. However, even I myself forget to go there first so I wanted to create a way to remind people when you're actually doing the shopping. Privacy: There are no user accounts and no individual's purchase details are shared with me. I can see aggregated reports on clicks to merchants and products, but they aren't connected to any personally identifiable data or orders. Basically what this means is if 100 different people buy a widget, I see 100 sales of a widget in reporting, the total price and the $ amount collected, but not who ordered the widgets.
