Unauthorized Data Collection
The extension sends image URLs to a third-party proxy ([domain withheld]) when fetching images for saving to Notion. This is not disclosed in the CWS data-collection categories (currently declared as 'none') and leaks page contents to a third party not related to the core Notion functionality. However, it is user-initiated (triggered by screenshot or image selection) and serves a functional purpose to bypass CORS restrictions.
Analyst notes
The extension's code shows standard functionality with all network calls directed to Notion domains as expected. The high request counts and innerHTML usage are from large UI bundles ( library) rather than malicious activity. The only concerning signal is use of [domain withheld] proxy for image fetching without disclosure, which is a privacy issue but user-initiated. The publisher reputation ( malicious) is a red flag but not corroborated by actual code, and the permhash cluster is clean.
