Works great! I previously used "Show YouTube comments while watching" but this one is just a bit cleaner and more customizable.

I had been using “Show YouTube comments while watching” on Chrome, but it did not work properly on Firefox-based browsers. I tried this add-on because it works on Firefox-based browsers, and since it worked well, I decided to use it on Chrome as well for consistency. Compared with the add-on I used before, this one offers more detailed settings, which I really appreciate. The permissions are also limited to YouTube.com, just like the previous add-on, so it feels reassuring. I would recommend this add-on to anyone who wants to view YouTube comments while watching videos.

I used other extensions for side comments but they stopped working and I found this one. I can say it's the best one out of them because it has great additional features and works flawlessly. *A small note that I found a small bug that when you changed the width of the comments section and you turn off the extension with the shortcut or by clicking the toggle in the extension's dropdown window then the video gets cropped.
