Capture screenshots, OCR text, and send to Readwise Reader

ReadSnap captures web pages and sends them to your Readwise Reader library — with optional OCR text extraction. HOW IT WORKS • Click "Full Page" to capture an entire scrollable page, stitched into a single image • Click "Select Area" to draw a rectangle and capture just that region • ReadSnap extracts text from the image using built-in OCR (powered by Tesseract.js) • The screenshot and extracted text are saved to Readwise Reader automatically FEATURES • Full-page capture with automatic scrolling and stitching • Area selection for capturing specific regions • Built-in OCR — no external services, everything runs locally in your browser • Supports English and Italian text recognition • Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+S (full page), Ctrl+Shift+A (area select) • Configurable default tags for organizing your captures • Toggle image inclusion and OCR on/off independently SETUP 1.
