Tired of retyping the same text? QuickSnippets Pro lets you save reusable snippets and paste them straight into any input or content-editable field from the right-click menu. Keep your snippets organized, grouped by category, and instantly add new ones from selected text. Key features: - Paste from right-click: insert a saved snippet directly into the focused field. - Optional category groups: toggle grouping to show submenus by category. - Favorites & order: star important snippets and drag to reorder in Manage. - Add selection fast: select text on any page → Add current selection… to save with a title & category. - Search & filter: find snippets by title/text; filter by category in the popup. - Import/Export: backup or share your set as JSON. - Polished dark UI: clean, minimal surfaces throughout popup and management screens. How it works: 1. Open the popup to create or edit snippets (title, text, category). 2. Right-click in any input/textarea/content-editable field → QuickSnippets → choose a snippet to paste. 3. Turn on Group by category in the popup or Manage page if you prefer categorized submenus. Privacy & data: - No data collection. This extension does not send your snippet content anywhere. - Snippets are stored locally (and optionally synced via Chrome sync). - No external servers, analytics, or trackers. Permissions (why they’re needed): - storage — save your snippets and settings. - contextMenus — show snippets in the right-click menu. - scripting + activeTab — insert text into the currently focused field on the page. - <all_urls> host access — required for reliable pasting on sites with iframes and editors.
