QR Code Scanner is a lightweight Microsoft Edge extension that lets you scan and generate QR codes anywhere on the web — without leaving the page. Features: • Right-click any image or canvas to scan its QR code and open the result instantly. • Right-click any link to generate its QR code, then copy or download it. • Optional hover preview: hover over a link to peek at its QR code. • Works with images, canvas elements, and CSS background images. • Available in 10 languages. Privacy: Scanning and generation stay local; QR contents and browsing history are not uploaded. The optional English survey sends feedback, invitation/open counts, language, version and a random receipt ID to Cloudflare only after consent and submission. Cloudflare processes connection metadata. Feedback is retained 180 days with daily cleanup. No payment-willingness question or email is requested. Existing scanning stays free. Automatic statistics: During use, daily feature counts and scan outcomes, version, interface language and browser family are sent to Cloudflare, which adds an approximate country. A new random report ID is used each UTC day; there is no permanent analytics ID or cross-day profile. No QR contents, images, page URLs, browsing history, email or payment details are included. Statistics are kept for 90 days with daily cleanup. No separate agreement checkbox is shown.
