# QA Vision AI - Chrome Extension **QA Vision AI** is an AI-powered testing assistant capable of analyzing any webpage and generating comprehensive Manual Test Scenarios automatically. No data is sent to our servers. ## 📦 Installation Since this extension is not yet in the Chrome Web Store, you need to load it manually: 1. **Download/Clone** this repository to your computer. 2. Open Google Chrome and go to `chrome://extensions/`. 3. Enable **Developer mode** (toggle switch in the top-right corner). 4. Click the **Load unpacked** button. 5. Select the **root folder** of this project (the folder containing `manifest.json`). 6. The **QA Vision AI** icon should appear in your toolbar. ## 🛠 Setup 1. Click the extension icon or open the Side Panel. 2. Click the **Settings (⚙️)** button in the header. 3. Enter your personal API Key for your preferred provider: - **Google Gemini**: [Get Free Key](https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey) (Recommended) - **OpenAI**: [Get Key](https://platform.openai.com/api-keys) - **Anthropic**: [Get Key](https://console.anthropic.com/) 4. Select your **Display Language**. 5. Click **Save**. ## 📖 Usage 1. Navigate to the webpage you want to test. 2. Open the **Chrome Side Panel** and select **QA Vision AI** from the dropdown menu. 3. Choose your **Provider** (e.g., Google) and **Model** (e.g., gemini-1.5-flash). 4. Select the **Output Language** (defaults to your display language). 5. Click **🚀 Start Analysis**. - The extension will scan the page and send the DOM structure to the AI. - Wait for the "Generated Scenarios" to appear. 6. **Review**: Uncheck any scenarios you don't want to keep. 7. **Export**: Click the **📊 Export** button to download an Excel (.xlsx) file with your test cases. ## ❓ FAQ **Q: Why do I get a "Model not found" error?** A: Ensure you have selected a valid model from the dropdown. If the list is empty, click the Refresh (🔄) button. **Q: Is it free?** A: The extension is open-source. However, API usage depends on the provider. Google Gemini currently offers a generous free tier.
