Google search results very often have links to Python 2 docs page. However, if you are programming in Python 3, switching to version 3 docs constantly may be pretty annoying. Same thing if you're not using the latest version of Python 3 and want to always see a specific version. This extension does that for you. Works well but is abandoned. There are some pages that were moved that it doesn't work for. For example https://docs.python.org/2/library/stringio.html to https://docs.python.org/3/library/io.html#io.StringIO. Someone contributed a fix on github, but the author isn't around to accept it. Must-have extension if you write Python.
