The extension is a simple French political humor tool published by Framasoft, a well-known French non-profit digital rights organization ([domain withheld]). The sole JavaScript file () contains a hardcoded list of French politician names and their 'proutified' replacements, applied via a TreeWalker that only mutates local DOM text nodes and the page title — no network requests, no data collection, no external communication of any kind. The ML score of 0.43 is driven entirely by the content_scripts match on [domain withheld], which is necessary for a text-replacement extension to work on any page, not a malicious signal. The publisher-level 'malicious' count () is an artifact of leave-one-out with a single extension — this IS that extension, making the statistic meaningless.
