works on youtube for audiobooks if you want to read along, making your life easier or on other websites as well.

After trying a bunch of options, I finally found one that actually works the way I want. PlaybackKeys lets me control YouTube and Udemy videos with global keyboard shortcuts, and honestly, it’s such a relief. No more constantly switching tabs just to pause or tweak the playback speed while I’m trying to get work done. This little extension totally fixes that headache. I also love that it’s open-source, crazy lightweight, and works smoothly across different sites without any fuss. If you’re someone who likes to have videos playing in the background while you multitask, this one’s a no-brainer.
