Pipeline: Job Capture saves the job posting you're viewing straight into your Pipeline recruiting tracker, no retyping company names, roles, or links by hand. HOW IT WORKS While browsing any job posting, a company careers page, a job board, anywhere, click the extension icon. It reads the page's title and automatically suggests the company and role, with the posting URL attached. Review and edit the suggested details, choose where you found it (company site, LinkedIn, referral, etc.), optionally add an application deadline, and save. The job appears immediately on your Pipeline board in the "Applied" column. WHAT IT DOES - Reads the current tab's page title and Open Graph metadata (only when you click the icon) to pre-fill company and role - Lets you review and edit every field before saving — the auto-fill is a starting point, not final - Saves the application to your Pipeline account via a personal API token you generate yourself - Attaches the original posting URL so you can always get back to it later WHAT IT DOESN'T DO - Doesn't run in the background or monitor your browsing — it only activates when you click it - Doesn't modify any web page - Doesn't collect or transmit any data to the extension developer — everything goes directly to your own Pipeline account REQUIREMENTS This extension is a companion to Pipeline, an open-source recruiting tracker. You'll need a Pipeline account and an API token (generated from the Settings page in the app) to connect the extension — instructions are shown in the extension's options page on first use. WHY Manually re-entering company, role, and link for every application you find is the single most tedious part of a job search with a high application volume. This extension removes that step entirely — find a posting, click once, keep browsing.
