With one click on the toolbar icon or the Ctrl+Shift+E (Command+Shift+E on Mac) keyboard shortcut, you enter eraser mode on any web page. The native cursor is hidden and replaced by a realistic eraser that follows your movement precisely. To remove content, simply rub back and forth across a page element. The extension detects the scrubbing gesture and fades the element out using a smooth animation before removing it from the DOM, so the content below naturally shifts up to fill the empty space. Subtle visual and audio feedback — including particle effects and friction sounds — make the erasing experience feel tactile and responsive. Two modes adapt to different needs. In normal mode, rub left and right a few times to erase whole page blocks, sections, or images. In precision mode, hold the left mouse button and rub carefully to erase tiny details such as a single letter, number, or even a decimal point, making it perfect for cleaning up text before taking a screenshot. You can adjust the eraser size with the [ and ] keys, press R to restore all erased elements instantly, or press Esc to exit the mode at any time. Built with Manifest V3 and designed with privacy in mind, all processing happens locally in your browser. The extension does not use remote code, send page data to external servers, or track your browsing activity.
