Orlo is a fast, native macOS download manager. This extension is the bridge between your browser and the Orlo app — it hands off your downloads and links so they're fetched over multiple parallel connections, often dramatically faster than a single-stream browser download. What it does - Takes over file downloads and sends them to Orlo for accelerated, multi-connection downloading - "Send to Orlo" from the toolbar button or right-click menu — on any link, the current page, or a magnet/.torrent link - Passes the cookies and headers needed so your authenticated downloads keep working Why Orlo - Multi-segment downloading for maximum speed - Pause, resume, and download queues - Built-in BitTorrent in the app (magnet links and .torrent files) Requires the Orlo App This extension does nothing on its own — it forwards to the Orlo app over native messaging. Install Orlo from https://orlo.akxl.io, then turn on Browser Integration in the app's settings. Privacy Orlo collects no data. Download URLs, cookies, and headers are sent only to the Orlo app running locally on your Mac — never to any third-party server.

Orlo makes downloading large files much more convenient by sending browser downloads directly to the Orlo app. It supports faster multi connection downloads along with pause resume and download queues. I also like that it handles magnet links and torrent files while keeping everything local for better privacy.

Instead of relying on your browser for large downloads Orlo transfers them to its macOS app for better speed and control. It supports files links and torrent downloads with pause resume and queue management. The extension also keeps authenticated downloads working by passing the required information securely. Your download data stays on your device and is never shared with external servers.

I've been using Orlo for a while and it's made downloading on my Mac much easier. The browser extension works smoothly and sends downloads directly to the app without any hassle. Multi-connection downloads are noticeably faster, and I really like the pause/resume feature. If you already use Orlo, this extension is definitely worth installing.
