Online Video Speed Controller Edge extension security report

This Edge extension allows you to control the speed of HTML5 video using shortcuts. While HTML5 video has built-in APIs to accelerate playback, many implemented players hide or limit this functionality. This extension addresses that limitation and offers additional features. With this extension, you can optimize your video viewing experience by easily adjusting the playback speed, as well as rewinding the video to re-listen to the last few seconds. Reading speed varies, and we speak much slower than we read, so there is no reason why we should be restricted to a constant speed and slow rate when listening to videos. Once installed, simply visit any webpage that offers HTML5 video, and you will find a speed indicator in the top left corner of the video player. By hovering over the indicator, you can access controls to accelerate, slow down, or rewind the video (with the option to rewind by 10 seconds and decrease the playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard: [V] show/hide the controller on player. [S] decrease playback speed. [D] increase playback speed. [Z] rewind video by 10 seconds. [X] advance video by 10 seconds. [R] reset playback speed to 1x. [G] set perferred speed. You can modify the above shortcut keys on the Settings page.
