I don't know how this extension was installed. I never wanted it. My guess is that it was a click-through from a purchase I made yesterday looking for audio signalling software either from EZKeys, or Band-in-a-Box. I've identified this extension while enabled as the source of the following browser and email problems. 1) When I browse on Google Chrome, even with yahoo search engine removed from my default search engines within my Chrome browser settings, any search I perform redirects me to the yahoo search engine. 2) While inside of my gmail email client window, a search for emails there also redirects me to a yahoo browser client in the current tab - redirecting me away from my gmail account. I have no idea if my gmail data has been compromised. Upshot: This extension is abusive and is possibly harmful to my computer or data in that it results in my search efforts being affected in an unintended way. It is malware disguised as an personal productivity extension and should be removed from the store. I've reported it.
