Source code is entirely unminified, readable, and matches the extension's stated purpose as a new-tab animated wallpaper with shortcuts, clock, and search. The only permission (`search`) is used legitimately in `:60` via `chrome.search.query()` to trigger the user's default search engine. All network interactions are user-initiated (clicking shortcut links, Google Favicons API for icons at `[domain withheld]). No background data collection, no obfuscation, no remote code loading, and no suspicious outbound requests were observed. The third-party risk score (Impact) and our own risk engine (Low) both corroborate the benign assessment; the ML medium score is explained by the permhash cluster size (7,555 extensions, only 3% flagged) providing very weak signal.
