All your MCIT navigational needs for Chrome MCIT Portal is a chrome extension that allows easy navigation to frequent links for the MCIT program. As full-time students, we've wasted a lot of time bookmarking links, clicking through layers within Coursera, and digging through email and Slack channels to find important links. With this extension, you can save yourself much time and hassle and have all your navigational needs right at your fingertips! ★ Lightweight MCIT Portal is lightweight, and does not run in the background. MCIT Portal only runs when the extension is clicked on or when the settings are saved. This saves precious memory in an already memory hungry browser! ★ Open-source MCIT Portal is open-source, the source code is on github. If you'd like to contribute to this project or have feedback, please contact us! ★ Secure Unlike other chrome extensions, MCIT portal does not require a login, account, or any special permissions. The only data stored by MCIT Portal can be found in the options page, and is stored internally on your gmail account using chrome.storage API. ★ Intuitve We've spent a lot of time on designing the UI of the extension. It's designed to be minimal, yet still makes navigation a breeze for users. ★ Dynamic The links in the portal are dynamic and update based on your class selections and course term. In other words, the links are always kept current, saving the user time in removing and adding bookmarks!
