Analyst notes
The extension does exactly what it advertises: a new-tab replacement with Manchester United wallpapers, a clock, configurable shortcuts, and a search bar. The sole permission (`search`) is correctly used in `:60` via `chrome.search.query()`. All outbound network activity is to first-party domains (`[domain withheld]`) or well-known services (Google Fonts at `[domain withheld]`, Google favicon service at `[domain withheld]). No data is exfiltrated, no user data is collected, and the bundled manifest is an exact match to the published manifest summary. The ML score (0.08) was likely triggered by typical new-tab-extension feature patterns shared with known hijackers, but the source code reveals no malicious intent.
