Magneto Chrome extension security report

Magneto is your personal magnet link stash, designed to solve the common frustration of losing access to magnet links when torrent sites inevitably go down. We've all experienced it: one day a link is there, and the next, it's gone until the site comes back online. Magneto addresses this by quietly collecting and storing every magnet link you come across as you browse, creating a reliable, in-browser cache for your peace of mind. This lightweight, privacy-first Chrome extension ensures seamless collection of magnet links from websites you whitelist, giving you full control over what's scraped and keeping your experience safe and personalized. All collected links are stored exclusively on your device, meaning no data is ever sent to external servers, upholding the highest standards of privacy and security. With Magneto, managing your collected links is effortless. You can access your "stash" at any time to browse your personal collection, open links directly in your preferred torrent client, delete unwanted entries, search through your library, and even export your links in various formats like TXT, JSON, and CSV. Magneto's core philosophy is privacy-first, guaranteeing your data stays local with no external servers or tracking. It's built to be lightweight and performant, ensuring minimal impact on your browsing speed. By using Magneto, you build your own resilient library of magnet links, ensuring you never miss out on a download, even if a site goes offline. You maintain complete control over what's collected by whitelisting sites for scraping.
