About this extension

Hide personal data before it reaches ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini — restored only on your screen. Your content is never stored.

Read the publisher’s full description

Magen is a privacy airlock for AI chat tools. Before your prompt or file reaches ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, Magen detects sensitive personal information — Israeli ID numbers (ת"ז), names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, and bank/credit details — and replaces it with neutral placeholders. The AI works on the masked text; Magen restores the real values only on your screen, locally. Your content is never stored on our servers. Built for lawyers, doctors, accountants, and anyone who handles confidential client data and wants to use AI without leaking it. • One-click protection built into the chat's own attach/send flow • Hebrew-aware detection (names, ת"ז, and more) • Restore-on-screen — you see the real answer; the AI never saw the real data • Optional OCR for scanned documents (Max plan) • Sign in with your Magen account — no license keys to copy Free plan available. Pro and Max unlock advanced Hebrew name detection and OCR. Manage your plan at https://magenapp.com.
