The temporary record expires after five minutes if it is not consumed. The extension does not request access to the source website and does not download or store the selected image bytes. The LiveFaceSwap website attempts the image import without sending source-site cookies or credentials. Some websites prevent direct browser imports; if that happens, save an image you are authorized to use and upload it manually on LiveFaceSwap. The extension runs a small packaged message relay only on https://livefaceswap.ai. The relay passes the one-time import response between the website page and the extension; it does not read unrelated page content, account credentials, camera data, payment information, or source-site cookies.
