About this extension
Sends Global Privacy Control with minimal overhead and explicit per-site exceptions.
Read the publisher’s full description
Let's GPC is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you express your Global Privacy Control (GPC) preference across the web. What is GPC? Global Privacy Control is a standardized privacy signal that tells websites and services that you do not want your personal information to be sold or shared with third parties, or used for cross-context targeted advertising. Why install Let's GPC? Privacy choices are often hidden behind separate settings on every website. Let's GPC gives you one clear browser-level control instead of making you repeat the same opt-out process everywhere. Features: • Sends the standard Sec-GPC: 1 signal through Chrome's network layer. • Exposes the Global Privacy Control page property where Chrome allows it. • Provides a global switch and explicit top-level site exceptions. • Disables Chrome Topics through Chrome's native privacy setting. • Shows the domains discovered from the current page when you open the popup. • Checks whether the current website publishes a GPC support declaration. • Supports domain search, import, export, themes, and incognito-aware local history. • Supports English and Simplified Chinese. Privacy and performance: • No telemetry. • No advertising. • No remote code or remote configuration. • No browsing history, full URLs, request headers, or page contents are uploaded. • Domain history is stored locally in Chrome. • Zero runtime dependencies. • One declarative network rule and no extension JavaScript executed for every request. Important limitations: Let's GPC is a technical privacy preference tool, not an ad blocker, cookie cleaner, consent-banner auto-clicker, or legal compliance guarantee. Some browser contexts, Web Workers, subframes, restricted Chrome pages, enterprise policies, or other extensions may limit the observable result. Requires Chrome 145 or later.
