LEGO Cursor - Toy Cursor for Chrome showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. Its permissions mean it can read and change data on all websites and can inject scripts into pages. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in June 2026.
Analyst notes
All code reviewed is consistent with a legitimate cursor-customization extension. The injects only a CSS stylesheet (no JS payloads) to remap cursor images stored locally. The uses chrome.scripting.executeScript only on install to inject into already-open tabs — a standard pattern. The popup (main bundle) is a React UI that chrome.storage.local for cursor preferences and opens tabs to [domain withheld] (the publisher's own domain). There are zero outbound network calls to any external domain from any file; the only URLs are [domain withheld] error docs (React internal), [domain withheld] (publisher), and SVG namespace URIs. The ML score (0.11 medium), high js_exclamation count, and js_fromCharCode hits all trace to minified bundle output, not obfuscation or malice.
