Keyword Watch keeps an eye on search interest for the keywords you care about. Add up to 5 subscriptions (5 keywords each). Choose Baidu Index, Google Trends, or both, pick a region, and pick an alert style — from smart monitoring to surge, streak, reversal, drop, volatility, or custom rules — at high / standard / low sensitivity. Every hour (and right after the browser wakes up), the extension refreshes data, draws charts in the popup, and updates the toolbar badge when something meaningful changes. All analytics run on your device. There is no Keyword Watch server. Notes: • Baidu Index requires you to be logged in to index.baidu.com in the same browser. • Google Trends does not require login. • Failed fetches are shown as failures and are never treated as a decline. • Baidu Index and Google Trends values are never merged or compared against each other. Permissions are limited to local storage, alarms, cookie presence checks for Baidu login, and host access to the two data sources.
