Control YouTube using your keyboard media keys, even when Chrome is not in focus. Easily navigate YouTube chapters, videos, and Shorts, including support for embedded players on other websites. If a video doesn’t have chapters, your media keys will restart the current video or skip to the next one automatically. The extension also replaces the video title in the mini player with the current chapter title, making it perfect for music videos and single-video playlists where you want to see the current song name. KeyTube is fully customizable through a simple popup settings page. You can change how the media keys work to match your preferences. MediaTrackPrevious and MediaTrackNext keys are required for most features. This extension does not affect YouTube’s playlist behavior, so everything works just like before.
