We only collect data when necessary to provide core functionality: **📦 Data Stored Locally:** - User preferences (recording resolution, frame rate, etc.) - Authentication tokens and user information (for session management, expires after 24 hours) - Recording metadata (duration, click count, screenshot count) - Recording history **🌐 Collected Only During Active Recording:** - Mouse click positions and keyboard inputs (only when you enable interaction tracking) - Web page visual content (screenshots/video frames) - Web page HTML content (only in website recording mode and when you explicitly enable it) - Tab audio content (only when you enable audio recording) **⚠️ Important Notes:** - All data is stored on your local device by default - Data is only transmitted to cloud storage services when you explicitly choose to upload - When recording is not active, we do not collect any website content or user activity data - Content scripts are injected on all websites (`<all_urls>`), but data is only collected when you actively start a recording session **☁️ Cloud Storage (Optional Feature):** When you choose to upload recorded content, data is transmitted to the following services: - **humva.studio** - User authentication and recording record management - **humva.com** - Tencent Cloud Object Storage (COS) configuration and file uploads Uploaded data includes: - Video recording files (WebM format) - Screenshot images - Interaction data (if enabled) - Recording metadata - Website HTML content (if website recording mode is enabled) You can delete uploaded data at any time through the extension interface. **📍 Location Data:** We do not collect location data. IP addresses may be logged by the authentication server (humva.studio) for security purposes only and are not used for location tracking. **🔒 Data Security:** - All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS - Authentication tokens automatically expire after 24 hours - Passwords are transmitted encrypted; the extension does not store passwords - Industry-standard security measures are employed to protect your data **👤 Your Rights:** - Access and view locally stored data at any time - Delete locally stored data at any time - Delete uploaded cloud data through the extension interface - Choose to use only local storage features without uploading any data **🚫 We Do Not:** - Sell or transfer your data to third parties (outside of approved use cases) - Use your data for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality - Collect any data when you are not actively recording - Use your data for creditworthiness assessment or lending purposes Thank you for using Humva Recorder! 🎉
