Huck: Wildlife New Tab & Nature Guide Chrome extension security report

Turn every new tab into a moment in nature. Huck Wildlife New Tab replaces your browser's new tab page with a beautiful, hand-illustrated wild species - a new bird, mammal, insect, reptile, or plant each day, with a quick fact and where to find it. Over 2,600 species are in rotation, all drawn in Huck's signature field-guide style. WHAT YOU GET ON EVERY TAB - Species of the day - original artwork, a clear fact, and rarity, from a library of 2,600+ North American species. - Wildlife spotted near you - a live strip of what naturalists are finding in your area this week, from recent research-grade sightings. - Instant species search - start typing any bird, plant, or animal and jump straight to its full field guide: identification, habitat, diet, and seasonality. - A calm, clutter-free page - a clock, a greeting, and beautiful art on clean parchment. No feeds, no noise. MADE FOR NATURE LOVERS Whether you're into birdwatching, hiking, native plants, national parks, or you just love learning what's alive around you, Huck makes wildlife identification and discovery a small daily delight. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts. No tracking. No ads. The extension only loads species artwork and nearby sightings from Huck, and uses a coarse, city-level location (from your IP, with no permission prompt and nothing stored) to center the "near you" strip. It never reads your browsing history or the pages you visit. A COMPANION TO THE HUCK APP Huck is a wildlife field guide for iPhone that identifies any plant, bird, or animal from a photo and maps sightings near you. Get it at huck-app.com. Free forever.
