HeaderMod adds, replaces, or removes HTTP request and response headers in Chrome/Edge, organized into named profiles you can switch between. Key features: • Multiple named profiles, each with its own set of header rules • Per-rule enable/disable, plus request and response headers handled separately • URL filters (regular expression) and resource-type filters so rules only apply where you want • Tab lock — restrict the active profile to just the current browser tab • Pause/resume — instantly disable all rules without losing your profiles • Cloud backup — timestamped profile snapshots via your browser's own sync storage, so you can restore a previous configuration • Import/export profiles as JSON for backup or sharing between machines Built on Manifest V3 and the native declarativeNetRequest API — no persistent background page, no remote code, no data collected or transmitted anywhere. Useful for API testing, debugging auth/CORS headers, spoofing user agents, or working around header-based restrictions during development.
