Hanbao turns any Chinese text into an interactive reading lesson. Instead of switching between your reading material and a dictionary, just hover over any word to instantly see its pinyin (with tone marks), English definitions, and related words you already know. - Why Hanbao? Reading real Chinese content is one of the best ways to learn, but constantly looking up words breaks your flow. Hanbao keeps you in the text. Every word is underlined by how well you know it — red for difficult, yellow for medium, green for easy — so you can see your progress at a glance and focus on what you still need to learn. - What it does Select text on any webpage and right-click "Import Selection", or drag in .md and .txt files. Hanbao segments the Chinese into words, renders the text with full markdown support, and gives you a sidebar dictionary that updates as you read. Mark words as difficult, medium, or easy with a single keypress. Your ratings are remembered across every text you import, so you build a personal vocabulary over time. The Word List page lets you review, filter, and sort everything you've marked.
