GTM Debug Runner

Helps with Google® Tag coverage by automatically visiting untagged pages and tracking them via Google® Tag Manager.

GTM Debug Runner is a developer-focused Chrome extension designed to support Google Tag coverage analysis. It processes CSV exports from Google Tag Coverage and automatically loads all URLs marked as “Not tagged” sequentially with an appended gtm_debug parameter. The actual debug session is initiated via the Google Tag Assistant Companion. Once an active debug connection is established, GTM Debug Runner reuses the existing gtm_debug parameter to automatically navigate through additional pages of the same domain, enabling a systematic review of tag coverage. The extension simplifies debugging and validation of Google Tag Manager setups by replacing the manual process of clicking through large sets of URLs. During execution, progress, remaining runtime (ETA), and status are displayed transparently. The run can be paused, resumed, or aborted at any time.
