GhostType Chrome extension security report

GhostType types your messages out one character at a time, just like a real person would, so chat platforms show "typing…" while it works. Perfect for Fiverr, Upwork, LinkedIn, and any messaging site where instant pastes ▎ give away that you're using a tool. ▎ ▎ Features ▎ • Floating ghost icon appears next to any focused chat box on sites you enable ▎ • Paste your reply, hit Start — GhostType types it in with realistic timing and small natural variations ▎ • Adjustable speed slider with real WPM display (10–250 WPM) ▎ • Optional automatic Enter after sentence terminators (. ? !) so each sentence sends as its own message ▎ • Pause / Resume / Stop / Reset controls ▎ • Pick from 6 completion sound presets (Chime, Ding, Bell, Success, Pop, Soft) with adjustable volume ▎ • Optional realistic typing-key click sound, also volume-adjustable ▎ • Per-site enable/disable from the toolbar popup ▎ • Floating icon position is draggable and saved per site ▎ • Pending text is preserved if you close the panel — pick up exactly where you left off ▎ • Minimal futuristic dark UI with a subtle breathing glow ▎ • Works on standard text inputs, textareas, and rich-text editors (Lexical, Draft.js, etc.) ▎ ▎ No data collection. No external servers. Everything runs locally in your browser.
