When you open those websites that you added, Focus Gate shows a short motivational quote for you to type in full. Finish typing to unlock the website. Use the built-in quotes or set custom messages per specific websites. Optionally add a cooldown to space out re-entries. 🌐 How it works You pick the sites you want Focus Gate to guard (any website, your choice eg: youtube). When one of those sites opens, an overlay appears with a short quote or your custom message. You type the full text correctly to Unlock the website. Cooldown (optional) — what it actually does If you enable cooldown, then after you unlock a site once, closing it and reopening it during the cooldown window will not show the typing challenge again for that site. When the cooldown expires, the typing challenge returns the next time you open that site. Cooldown is off by default. You choose the duration (per your settings). This applies only to the sites you’ve added and only when cooldown is turned on.
