Displays float values for CS GO skins in the Steam Market. You can check statistics about the public server at http://floatfromskin.tryrecords.com Since requests to the Steam network cannot be made directly from your browser and must be made by a steam client you need to use a public server (that runs multiple steam clients) as a proxy. This public server is at floatfromskin.tryrecords.com which is the default server used by the app (You can change which server the app uses in the options). Steam throttles requests very aggressively so this server can only make one request every 1.4 seconds per steam account. This means we need a lot of steam accounts with a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive copy each. If the server is not responding to your requests fast enough it's probably because there aren't enough steam clients for everybody. You can help fix that and contribute by sending a copy of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to [email protected]. You can also send skins which I will sell to buy more copies. The public server is currently located in the European Union region (Ireland).
