This is a complete, unminified, 7-code-file proxy extension that does exactly what it advertises::24-49 sets a SOCKS5 proxy to the hardcoded host [domain withheld] (same domain as the extension's own PREMIUM_LINK in:12) only after the user clicks the popup toggle, and clears it on toggle-off (:51-63); there is no, no content script, no host_permissions, no eval, no remote script and no telemetry of any kind anywhere in the bundle, and contains zero url()/@ references. The signature list enumerates exactly 17 paths, all present and accounted for (7 code files + 8 flag SVGs + 3 icons), so no signed was withheld from review. Signals contradicting the ML score: chrome-stats cites permission-clipboard, a permission that appears in neither the bundled nor the published manifest, and the publisher is malicious leave-one-out; the malext-feed internal note self-describes as 'not an independent code review' and the code does not corroborate it, while the permhash cluster (39% flagged) is an artifact of ['proxy','storage'] being the minimal permission set every VPN extension uses, benign or not. Rationale-only concerns that are not code findings: SOCKS5 is unencrypted yet::113 claim 'Соединение защищено' and the listing markets public Wi-Fi, which is deceptive marketing; reads as a clone-farm template ( fields, brand 'Дед ВПН' not matching [domain withheld], publisher policy pointing at a reused 'Hola VPN' [domain withheld] page, 22 sibling extensions, 175 reviews on 821 users); and what the proxy operator does with routed traffic is server-side, inherent to the stated function, and outside what code review can establish.
