Fake Tab lets you change the visible title and favicon of the current browser tab. You can enter a custom tab title, provide a custom icon URL, or quickly apply built-in presets such as Google, Gmail, GitHub, Google Docs, Calendar, or Slack. The extension can also keep the chosen title and icon for the same tab after the page refreshes, and you can reset the tab back to its original title and favicon at any time. Fake Tab only works on the active tab after you open the extension popup, and it is designed for temporarily disguising or simplifying the appearance of the page you are currently browsing.
