A: It's very simple. After installing the extension, click the extension icon, press the "Start Recording" button, and select the tab you want to record. When you want to end the recording, press the "Stop Recording" button, and the audio file will automatically download. Q: Why can't I record? A: From the extension settings, set the "Site Access Permissions" to "Allow" for microphone access. Also check your PC's microphone settings. Q: Can I record with window sharing instead of tab sharing? A: No, recording is only possible when sharing a tab. Q: What meeting tools can I use this with? A: You can use it with most web meeting tools that run in a browser (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Amazon Chime, etc.). If audio is playing in a tab, it can be recorded. Q: Where are the recorded files saved? A: You can specify the save location and filename when the recording ends. They are not sent to external servers at all. Q: What happens if I turn off the microphone? A: If you turn off the microphone toggle on the extension's popup screen, input from your microphone will not be recorded. Only the tab's audio will be recorded. Q: What's the audio quality of the recording? A: The recording quality is sufficient for transcription. It's not suitable for uses requiring high-quality audio, such as music recording. Q: How do I transcribe the recording? A: You can upload the recording file to any transcription service. The stereo recording allows transcription tools to distinguish between speakers. Q: Will surrounding sounds (ambient noise) also be recorded?
