All reviewed source files implement a straightforward cursor-replacement extension: injects only a CSS <style> element to change cursor appearance, injects into existing tabs on install and opens a first-party [domain withheld] URL, and the React popup (main.) only chrome.storage.local with no outbound network requests to any third-party. The ML signals (fromCharCode, innerHTML, scripting usage) originate entirely from React framework internals and the legitimate CSS injection mechanism. The permhash cluster malware rate (18%) reflects that broad-permission cursor extensions are a common template reused by both benign and malicious publishers; this specific implementation contains no data exfiltration or remote code loading.
