DarkLens is a professional dark mode extension that transforms the entire web into a comfortable, eye-friendly experience without altering the original design or layout of any website. Unlike basic dark mode tools that simply invert colors or slap a dark overlay on everything, DarkLens uses smart color rewriting technology. It analyzes each element individually, darkens light backgrounds to rich dark tones, and brightens dark text to readable light shades. Images, videos, photos, and graphics are never touched and always display in their original quality. Broad Compatibility — DarkLens runs on virtually every website including single-page applications, dynamically loaded content, and sites with shadow DOM components. EXCLUDED WEBSITES DarkLens intentionally does not run on online code editors, coding playgrounds, and data science notebook environments where color accuracy is critical and a custom dark theme is either already present or where interference could disrupt the coding experience. Excluded platforms include Kaggle, Google Colab, Jupyter, Replit, CodePen, StackBlitz, CodeSandbox, GitHub Dev, LeetCode, HackerRank, Codeforces, AtCoder, CodeChef, Godbolt, Databricks, and several others. You can still manually add any of these to your allow list if you prefer. PRIVACY DarkLens does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
