Analyst notes
Every executable byte of the package is accounted for and benign: (296 B) only opens the publisher's own [domain withheld] page on install and sets an uninstall URL to [domain withheld] (the domain hosting the listing's privacy policy); is a jQuery new-tab page doing a clock, localStorage-only shortcuts, and search via chrome.search.query (:100), which routes through the user's own default engine with no hardcoded search URL or redirect; and jquery-3.7.1. — the 87,533 bytes that make up ~89% of the 98,032 total_js_size_bytes the model scored, and which was missing from the supplied bundle — is byte-identical stock jQuery (SRI sha256-, retrieved from the CRX corpus at /[domain withheld] and verified against the official 3.7.1 hash). There is no, no eval, no remote script, no content script, and the only permission is `search`, matching the published manifest exactly. Contradicting the 0.75 ML score, nothing in the code collects or transmits user data; the permhash cluster's 33% malware rate and the publisher's malicious siblings are the only real adverse signals, and both are reputational context about a mass-produced-wallpaper publisher rather than evidence about this build (a future delayed-malicious update remains possible, but 6.4.13 is clean).
